Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Product Description

IL31 antibody LS-B575 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to IL31 from human and mouse. Validated for IHC and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.
About IL31
IL31, which is made principally by activated Th2-type T cells, interacts with a heterodimeric receptor consisting of IL31RA (MIM 609510) and OSMR (MIM 601743) that is constitutively expressed on epithelial cells and keratinocytes. IL31 may be involved in the promotion of allergic skin disorders and in regulating other allergic diseases, such as asthma (Dillon et al., 2004 [PubMed 15184896]). Q6EBC2 NM_001014336 NP_001014358.1

Internal
Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B575 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B575 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.
Presentation
PBS, 0.02% sodium azide.
Storage
Store at 4°C for 3 months and -20°C, stable for up to 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Restrictions
For research use only.
Guarantee
This antibody carries the LSBio 100% Guarantee.
