  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

IL21 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to 15 amino acids near the center of human IL-21 precursor .
LS-E29968 - Liquid - 50 µg 0.2 mg/ml - $145.00
synthetic peptide corresponding to 15 amino acids near the center of human IL-21 precursor
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B1364 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B1364 was determined to be 5 ug/ml.

PBS, 0.02% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles. Store undiluted.
For research use only.

IL21 Antibody, Interleukin 21 Antibody, Interleukin-21 Antibody, Interleukin-21 isoform Antibody, Za11 Antibody, IL-21 Antibody

Cytokine with immunoregulatory activity. May promote the transition between innate and adaptive immunity. Induces the production of IgG1 and IgG3 in B-cells (By similarity). May play a role in proliferation and maturation of natural killer (NK) cells in synergy with IL15. May regulate proliferation of mature B- and T-cells in response to activating stimuli. In synergy with IL15 and IL18 stimulates interferon gamma production in T-cells and NK cells.

Anti-IL21 antibody IHC of human spleen. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B1364 concentration 5 ug/ml.

Immunocytochemistry of IL-21 in K562 cells with IL-21 antibody at 2 ug/ml.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of IL-21 expression in HL-60 cell lysate in the absence (lane A) or presence of blocking peptide (lane B) with IL-21 antibody at 1 ug /ml.
