Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein A purified
Specificity and Use
Recognizes natural and recombinant human IL-1ra.
Suitable for use in ELISA. ELISA: As detection antibody. Dilutions should be made in buffered solution containing a carrier protein (e. g., 0.1%-1.0% BSA) and a preservative, such as 0.05% sodium azide. The suggested concentration for use as a detection antibody in ELISA is 0.1 to 1.0 ug/ml.
PBS, pH 7.5, 0.5% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
IL1RN is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This protein inhibits the activities of interleukin 1, alpha (IL1A) and interleukin 1, beta (IL1B), and modulates a variety of interleukin 1 related immune and inflammatory responses. This gene and five other closely related cytokine genes form a gene cluster spanning approximately 400 kb on chromosome 2. A polymorphism of this gene is reported to be associated with increased risk of osteoporotic fractures and gastric cancer.
