Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
IHC - Paraffin, Immunofluorescence, Western blot, Flow Cytometry
Mouse Monoclonal (IgG1) to Human IL1RN
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein A purified
Specificity and Use
Recognizes natural and recombinant human IL-1ra.
Suitable for use in ELISA. ELISA: As detection antibody. Dilutions should be made in buffered solution containing a carrier protein (e. g., 0.1%-1.0% BSA) and a preservative, such as 0.05% sodium azide. The suggested concentration for use as a detection antibody in ELISA is 0.1 to 1.0 ug/ml. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
PBS, pH 7.5, 0.5% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide.
Short term: +4°C; Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C.
IL1RN is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. This protein inhibits the activities of interleukin 1, alpha (IL1A) and interleukin 1, beta (IL1B), and modulates a variety of interleukin 1 related immune and inflammatory responses. This gene and five other closely related cytokine genes form a gene cluster spanning approximately 400 kb on chromosome 2. A polymorphism of this gene is reported to be associated with increased risk of osteoporotic fractures and gastric cancer.
