Recognizes rat interleukin-1 alpha (IL-1 alpha). In western blots, this antibody does not cross-react with Recombinant human IL-1a, Recombinant murine, IL-1a, Recombinant porcine IL-1a, Recombinant human IL-1b or Recombinant rat IL-1b.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. ELISA: 4 ug/ml using 100 ul/well to detect a range of 4-250pg/ml of recombinant rat IL1 alpha. Capture antibody in rat IL-1a sandwich ELISA. Western Blot: 50 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Predicted molecular weight: 31kD.
