Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Monkey, Bat, Horse, Pig (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Mouse, Bovine, Hamster (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein G purified
Western blot (1:500 - 1:1000)
Specificity and Use
IL17RB antibody was raised against amino acids 102-118 (CNYTEAFQTQTRPSGGK) of human IL-17BR protein were used as the immunogen. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Bat, Horse, Pig (100%); Mouse, Bovine, Hamster, Elephant, Panda (94%); Rat, Dog (88%).
In HeLa, a 45 kD band is observed.

Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
IL17RB is a type I transmembrane protein with 17% homology to IL17R. Studies have shown that IL17RB binds strongly to IL17E, weakly to IL17B but does not bind IL17 or IL17C. The IL17 proteins are a family of potent cytokines that act to induce proinflammatory responses. Receptor binding of ligand has been shown to lead to the activation of nuclear factor kappa-B and production of IL8.
