Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal [clone 3-126.96.36.199] (IgG1) to Human IL17A
Rat Monoclonal [clone TC11-8H4] (IgG1,k) to Mouse IL17A
Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1,k Monoclonal [TC11-8H4]
Specificity and Use
IL17A antibody was raised against e. coli-expressed recombinant mouse IL-17
Useful as a detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA for quantifying mouse IL-17 protein levels. Should be paired with purified TC11-18H10 antibody as the capture antibody, with purified recombinant mouse IL-17 as the standard. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
IL17A is a proinflammatory cytokine produced by activated T cells. This cytokine regulates the activities of NF-kappaB and mitogen-activated protein kinases. This cytokine can stimulate the expression of IL6 and cyclooxygenase-2 (PTGS2/COX-2), as well as enhance the production of nitric oxide (NO). High levels of this cytokine are associated with several chronic inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis and multiple sclerosis.
