Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

IL-33 antibody was raised against this purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human IL-33 protein.
This purified antibody has been heated to 56°C for 30 minutes. In ELISA and other immunoreactive assays, this antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human IL-33 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.
This purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Reactivity is also expected in neutralizations, radioimmunoassay and immunohistochemistry. The endotoxin content is estimated to be <10 pg/ul by the LAL method. By western blot a band approximately 18 kD in size corresponding to mature human IL-32a protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

About IL-33

O95760 NM_033439 NP_254274.1

IL33 Antibody, C9orf26 Antibody, DVS27 Antibody, DVS27-related protein Antibody, IL-1F11 Antibody, IL-33 Antibody, Interleukin-33 Antibody, NFEHEV Antibody, NF-HEV Antibody, Interleukin-1 family member 11 Antibody, NFHEV Antibody, IL1F11 Antibody, Interleukin 33 Antibody, RP11-575C20.2 Antibody

Cytokine that binds to and signals through the IL1RL1/ST2 receptor which in turn activates NF-kappa-B and MAPK signaling pathways in target cells (PubMed:16286016). Involved in the maturation of Th2 cells inducing the secretion of T-helper type 2-associated cytokines. Also involved in activation of mast cells, basophils, eosinophils and natural killer cells.

Western blot

Western blot
Anti-Human IL-33 Antibody - Western Blot. Western blot of anti-Human IL-33 antibody shows detection of a band ~18 kD in size corresponding to recombinant human IL-33 (lane 1). The identity of the higher molecular weight band is unknown. Molecular weight markers are also shown (M). After transfer, the membrane was blocked overnight with 3% BSA in TBS followed by reaction with primary antibody at a 1:1000 dilution. Detection occurred using peroxidase conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG (LS-C60865) secondary antibody diluted 1:40000 in blocking buffer (p/n MB-070) for 30 min at RT followed by reaction with FemtoMax chemiluminescent substrate. Image was captured using VersaDoc MP 4000 imaging system (Bio-Rad).
