  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

IGF1R / IGF1 Receptor antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to human IGF-I R. Reconstitute with 40-50% glycerol, (water, PBS).
Recognizes human IGF-I R.
Suitable for use in Flow cytometry: Designed to quantitatively determine the percentage of cells bearing IGF-I R within a population and qualitatively determine the density of IGF-I R on cell surfaces by flow cytometry. Washed cells are incubated with the PerCP-labeled monoclonal antibody, which binds to cells expressing IGF-I R. Unbound PerCP-conjugated antibody is then washed from the. cells. Cells expressing IGF-I R are fluorescently stained; with the intensity of staining directly proportional to the density of expression of IGF-I R. Cell surface expression of IGF-I R is. determined by flow cytometry. PerCP has a maximum absorption of 482nm and 564nm and a maximum emission of 675nm.

Lyophilized from 25 ug antibody, 1 ml saline, 0.5% BSA, 0.1% sodium azide
100 tst Sterile 40-50% glycerol.
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C.
For research use only.

Receptor tyrosine kinase which mediates actions of insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1). Binds IGF1 with high affinity and IGF2 and insulin (INS) with a lower affinity. The activated IGF1R is involved in cell growth and survival control. IGF1R is crucial for tumor transformation and survival of malignant cell.
