Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

  • Western blot (1:1000)

Specificity and Use

IFNAR1 / IFNAR antibody was raised against phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding the phosphoSer535539 of human interferon-a receptor, type I, subunit I (IFNAR1).
pSer535/Ser539
Specific for IFNAR1 protein phosphorylated at Ser535539 in Western blots of human brain extracts. Note: the molecular weight of the IFNAR1 varies with cell line (different levels of glycosylation) in 293 and HeLa Cells; the mature form is ~110 - 130k.

Packaging

10 mM sodium HEPES, pH 7.5, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.1 mg/ml BSA, 50% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: -20°C
For research use only.

About IFNAR1 / IFNAR

P17181 NM_000629 NP_000620.2

IFNAR1 Antibody, Alpha-type antiviral protein Antibody, Beta-type antiviral protein Antibody, CRF2-1 Antibody, IFN-alpha/beta receptor 1 Antibody, IFN-alpha-REC Antibody, IFN-R-1 Antibody, IFNAR Antibody, IFNBR Antibody, IFRC Antibody, Interferon-beta receptor 1 Antibody, Interferon-alpha receptor Antibody, Type I interferon receptor 1 Antibody

Associates with IFNAR2 to form the type I interferon receptor. Receptor for interferons alpha and beta. Binding to type I IFNs triggers tyrosine phosphorylation of a number of proteins including JAKs, TYK2, STAT proteins and IFNR alpha- and beta-subunits themselves. Can also transduce IFNB signals without the help of IFNAR2, and not activating the Jak-STAT pathway.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of immunoprecipitates from HEK 293 cells transfected with 1. Mock, 2. IFNAR1 WT, and 3. IFNAR1 S535A and S539A mutants showing specific immunolabeling of the -110k to -130k IFNAR1 WT. The immunolabeling is absent in IFNAR1 Ser5 35 and Se r539.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of immunoprecipitates from HEK 293 cells transfected with 1. Mock, 2. IFNAR1 WT, and 3. IFNAR1 S535A and S539A mutants showing specific immunolabeling of the ~110k to ~130k IFNAR1 WT. The immunolabeling is absent in IFNAR1 Ser535 and Ser539 mutants (Control). The immunolabeling is blocked by the phosphopeptide (Phos) used as the antigen but not by the corresponding dephosphopeptide (Dephos).
