Specifications

Description
HTR1A is the G-protein coupled receptor for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin). It functions as a membrane receptor for various drugs and psychoactive substances, and plays a role in the regulation of dopamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine levels in the brain. It is involved in affecting neural activity, mood and behavior, as well as the response to anxiogenic stimuli. The receptor is expressed in various regions of the brain, in lymphoid tissues, and activated T cells. References: J. Neurochem. 107 (2): 488–96, PMID: 18761712; Hum Brain Mapp. 2018 Feb;39(2):1043-1055, PMID: 29323797

Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B970 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B970 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
Presentation
PBS, 0.09% sodium azide, 2% sucrose
