Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Specificity and Use
HSPD1 / HSP60 antibody was raised against human placental Hsp 60. Epitope: Epitope mapping studies using human Hsp 60 deletion mutants suggest that this antibody binds between amino acids 211-288.
Detects Hsp 60 from human cells, tissues and recombinant protein preparations. This antibody displays no other protein or species cross-reactivity. Species cross-reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation.
HSPD1 / HSP60 is a member of the chaperonin family. The encoded mitochondrial protein may function as a signaling molecule in the innate immune system. This protein is essential for the folding and assembly of newly imported proteins in the mitochondria. This gene is adjacent to a related family member and the region between the 2 genes functions as a bidirectional promoter. Several pseudogenes have been associated with this gene.
