A 19 aa synthetic peptide mapping near the C-Terminus of rat 11b-HSD2 (1), coupled to KLH.

Specificity
Recognizes Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase, 11-beta Type II. No significant sequence homology is seen with 11b-HSD1 or other proteins. Species cross-reactivity: The rat peptide is not well conserved in mouse and human 11b-HSD2. We recommend the use for mouse and human 11b-HSD2, LS-C24605 and LS-C24599 respectively.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 (ECL). ELISA: 1:10000-1:100000 using 50-100 ng of control peptide/well.
