Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Mouse, Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Paraffin (1:100)
Western blot (1:500 - 1:3000)
Specificity and Use
HSD11B1 / HSD11B antibody was raised against synthetic peptide
This Polyclonal antibody is directed against human 11-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase(Type 1)protein. The product was purified from serum by protein A chromatography. Expect reactivity with human 11-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase(Type 1). Cross-reactivity with 11-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase(Type 1) from other sources has not been determined.
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.
HSD11B1 / HSD11B is a microsomal enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of the stress hormone cortisol to the inactive metabolite cortisone. In addition, the encoded protein can catalyze the reverse reaction, the conversion of cortisone to cortisol. Too much cortisol can lead to central obesity, and a particular variation in this gene has been associated with obesity and insulin resistance in children.
