Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

HRH2 / Histamine H2 Receptor antibody was raised against synthetic peptide C-NRNSHKTSLRSNASQ from an internal region of mouse HRH2 / Histamine H2 Receptor (NP_001010973.1; NP_032312.2). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon (100%); Monkey, Marmoset (93%); Galago (87%).
LS-E27727 - Lyophilized - 100 µg - $145.00
aa309-323
Mouse HRH2 / Histamine H2 Receptor. This antibody is expected to recognize both reported isoforms (NP_001124527.1; NP_071640.1).
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000. Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 27kD band in Mouse Brain lysates after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 44.8kD according to NP_001010973.1. The 27kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

About HRH2 / Histamine H2 Receptor

P25021 NM_022304 NP_071640.1

HRH2 Antibody, Gastric receptor I Antibody, H2R Antibody, Histamine 2 receptor Antibody, Gastric receptor 1 Antibody, H2 histamine receptor Antibody, HH2R Antibody, Histamine type 2 receptor Antibody, Histamine H2 receptor Antibody, Histamine receptor H2 Antibody

The H2 subclass of histamine receptors mediates gastric acid secretion. Also appears to regulate gastrointestinal motility and intestinal secretion. Possible role in regulating cell growth and differentiation. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase and, through a separate G protein-dependent mechanism, the phosphoinositide/protein kinase (PKC) signaling pathway.
