Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

HLA-E antibody was raised against human HLA-E
This 3D12 (HLA-E) antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 5 ul (0.5 ug)/per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug)/test of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, <=0.09% sodium azide, BSA and/or gelatin
Store at +4°C. Do not freeze. Product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.

HLA-E Antibody, EA2.1 Antibody, HLAE Antibody, MHC HLA-E alpha-2.1 Antibody, MHC HLA-E alpha-1 Antibody, EA1.2 Antibody, HLA-6.2 Antibody, MHC class I antigen E Antibody, QA1 Antibody

HLA-E belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer consisting of a heavy chain and a light chain (beta-2 microglobulin). The heavy chain is anchored in the membrane. HLA-E binds a restricted subset of peptides derived from the leader peptides of other class I molecules. The heavy chain is approximately 45 kDa and its gene contains 8 exons.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of normal human peripheral blood cells with FITC anti-human HLA-ABC (W6/32) (LS-C106350) and 0.5 ug of PE Mouse IgG1, K isotype control (left) or PE anti-human HLA-E (3D12HLA-E) (right). Cells in the lymphocyte gate were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
