Specificity and Use
HHV-8 ORF57 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to a region near the C-terminal of human KSHV ORF57 protein.

This affinity purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band 50-55 kD in size corresponding to KSHV ORF57 protein by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract.
