Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
(applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Specificity and Use
HHV-6b antibody was raised against herpesvirus 6, B variant.
Recognizes a virion protein of 101kD of Human herpes virus 6, B variant. Does not cross-react with HHV-6 A variant. Species cross-reactivity: Shows weak reactivity to cells infected with human CMV in immunofluorescent assays.
Suitable for use in Indirect Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Indirect Immunofluorescence: >1:50 (infected culture cells). Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections): Dilute with buffer pH 7.5-8.0 to desired working volume. For extensive dilution, protein containing or other stabilizing medium should be used.
PBS, pH 7.6, 0.1% sodium azide.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
