Human Heat Shock Protein 70 / HSPA1A
Human, Monkey, Mouse, Rat, Bovine, Dog, Guinea pig, Hamster, Pig, Sheep
(tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
- Western blot
- Immunoprecipitation (1:100)
- ELISA (1:1000)
Recombinant human HSP70.
Detects an ~70kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of Hsp70 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots. Specific for the inducible form of Hsp70 (Hsp72) and does not cross-react with the constitutive Hsc70 (Hsp73) or DnaK. Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse, rat, beluga, bovine, canine, fish (carp), guinea pig, hamster, monkey, porcine, sheep and coral.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot (ECL): 1:30000. Immunoprecipitation: 1:100. ELISA: 1:1000. Positive control: Recombinant Human Hsp70 Protein.
PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol
Short term: 4°C; Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C.

About Heat Shock Protein 70 / HSPA1A
In cooperation with other chaperones, Hsp70s stabilize preexistent proteins against aggregation and mediate the folding of newly translated polypeptides in the cytosol as well as within organelles. These chaperones participate in all these processes through their ability to recognize nonnative conformations of other proteins.
