  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

HDC / Histidine Decarboxylase antibody was raised against recombinant histidine decarboxylase produced in E. coli.
Recognizes Histidine Decarboxylase. Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining. Species cross-reactivity: Human, rat, mouse, canine and guinea pig.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence microscopy (paraffin and frozen sections). Immunofluorescence microscopy: 1:1000-1:1500; with overnight incubation at 2-8?C. Positive control: Stefanini-fixed frozen sections of rat fundus.

Lyophilized, 0.09% sodium azide.
50 µl Reconstitute with 50ul sterile dH2O.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
For research use only.

About HDC / Histidine Decarboxylase

P19113 NM_002112 NP_002103.2

HDC Antibody, Histidine decarboxylase Antibody

HDC / Histidine Decarboxylase is a member of the group II decarboxylase family and forms a homodimer that converts L-histidine to histamine in a pyridoxal phosphate dependent manner. Histamine regulates several physiologic processes, including neurotransmission, gastric acid secretion, inflamation, and smooth muscle tone.
