Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:5000 - 1:10000)
Specificity and Use
HAVCR2 / TIM-3 antibody was raised against recombinant mouse Tim-3: Fc (T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain containing protein-3: Fc).
Recognizes mouse Tim-3.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. ELISA (direct and indirect): 1:5000-1:10000). Western Blot: 1:5000-1:10000 using ECL. Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is TBST with 0.05% Tween 20 with 5% skim milk. Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at RT).
PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
HAVCR2 / TIM-3 belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, and TIM family of proteins. CD4-positive T helper lymphocytes can be divided into types 1 (Th1) and 2 (Th2) on the basis of their cytokine secretion patterns. Th1 cells are involved in cell-mediated immunity to intracellular pathogens and delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions, whereas, Th2 cells are involved in the control of extracellular helminthic infections and the promotion of atopic and allergic diseases.
