Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

GZMK / Granzyme K antibody was raised against generated by genetic immunization of BALB/c mice with an immunization vector containing the granzyme K cDNA.
Recognizes granzyme K transiently expressed on the cell surface of transfected BOSC cells as well as the native protein in peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Reacts with human granzyme K (GrK), a 28kD serine protease whose gene is located on chromosome 5q11-12 close to the granzyme A-encoding gene. Does not cross-react with the human granzymes A B or M.
Tested for the use in flow cytometry, ELISA and cell-ELISA. It is expected that the antibody will be suited for all applications where recognition of the native protein is required.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C

GZMK / Granzyme K product is a member of a group of related serine proteases from the cytoplasmic granules of cytotoxic lymphocytes. Cytolytic T lymphocytes (CTL) and natural killer (NK) cells share the remarkable ability to recognize, bind, and lyse specific target cells. They are thought to protect their host by lysing cells bearing on their surface 'nonself' antigens, usually peptides or proteins resulting from infection by intracellular pathogens.
