Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Immunizing peptide used to generate LS-C87242. Useful for pre-absorption and neutralization of the antibody's antigen binding site.
aa150-161
Human GCH1. This antibody is expected to recognize all four isoforms (NP_000152.1 ; NP_001019195.1 ; NP_001019241.1 ; NP_001019242.1)
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western blot: Approx. 37 kDa band observed in Human Lymph Node, Thymus and Tonsil lysates. Customers experiments gave identical results in lysates of cell line HUVEC with antibodies raised against different parts of the same protein. (calculated MW of 27.9 kDa according to NP_000152.1). Recommended concentration: 1-3 ug/ml.

GTPCH1 / GCH1 is a member of the GTP cyclohydrolase family. The encoded protein is the first and rate-limiting enzyme in tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4) biosynthesis, catalyzing the conversion of GTP into 7,8-dihydroneopterin triphosphate. BH4 is an essential cofactor required by aromatic amino acid hydroxylases as well as nitric oxide synthases. Mutations in this gene are associated with malignant hyperphenylalaninemia and dopa-responsive dystonia.

Western blot

Western blot
GCH1 antibody (1 ug/ml) staining of Human Thymus lysate (35 ug protein/ml in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.
