  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

GRB2 antibody was raised against purified recombinant human Grb2 protein.
Recognizes a protein with Mr24-25kD, identified as Grb2 (growth-factor receptor-bound protein 2), also known as ASH (abundant Src homology). Grb2 deletion studies indicate that the epitope for this antibody maps to amino acid residues 54-62. No cross-reactivity with other SH2/SH3 signaling intermediates. Species Reactivity: Human, bovine, mouse, rat and Xenopus.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Immunofluorescence: 1.0 ug/ml with an incubation of 2 hours at RT. Immunohistochemistry: 1-2 ug/ml with an incubation of 30 minutes at RT. (on acetone-fixed frozen and formalin-fixed/paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Staining of formalin/paraffin tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes.). Positive control: BALB 3T3 or NIH 3T3 cells, kidney or tonsil.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.2% BSA, 15 mM sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
For research use only.

About GRB2

GRB2 Antibody, Abundant SRC homology Antibody, Adapter protein GRB2 Antibody, ASH Antibody, EGFRBP-GRB2 Antibody, MST084 Antibody, MSTP084 Antibody, Protein Ash Antibody, SH2/SH3 adapter GRB2 Antibody, Grb3-3 Antibody, HT027 Antibody, NCKAP2 Antibody

Adapter protein that provides a critical link between cell surface growth factor receptors and the Ras signaling pathway.Isoform 2 does not bind to phosphorylated epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) but inhibits EGF-induced transactivation of a RAS-responsive element. Isoform 2 acts as a dominant negative protein over GRB2 and by suppressing proliferative signals, may trigger active programmed cell death.
