Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Monkey, Dog, Horse (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Mouse, Rat, Bat, Bovine, Hamster, Rabbit, Chicken (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC - Paraffin (17 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
GPRC5C antibody was raised against synthetic 18 amino acid peptide from C-terminus of human GPRC5C. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Orangutan, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Panda, Dog, Horse (100%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster, Elephant, Bat, Bovine, Rabbit, Turkey, Chicken, Lizard (94%); Platypus (89%); Opossum, Stickleback, Pufferfish (83%).
GPRC5C is a member of the type 3 G protein-coupled receptor family. Members of this superfamily are characterized by a signature 7-transmembrane domain motif. The specific function of this protein is unknown; however, this protein may mediate the cellular effects of retinoic acid on the G protein signal transduction cascade. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
