  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

GPR143 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from the 4th cytoplasmic domain of human ocular albinism type 1 protein (G protein-coupled receptor 143 or GPR143, OA1) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein.
Cytoplasmic Domain
Specific for OA1.
IHC: Antigen retrieval is essential for use on paraffin sections.

Lyophilized. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material
500 µl Sterile water
Maintain lyophilized and reconstituted antibodies at -20°C for long term storage and at 2-8°C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
For research use only.

Receptor for tyrosine, L-DOPA and dopamine. After binding to L-DOPA, stimulates Ca2+ influx into the cytoplasm, increases secretion of the neurotrophic factor SERPINF1 and relocalizes beta arrestin at the plasma membrane; this ligand-dependent signaling occurs through a G(q)-mediated pathway in melanocytic cells. Its activity is mediated by G proteins which activate the phosphoinositide signaling pathway.
