Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

GPR132 / G2A antibody was raised against synthetic 18 amino acid peptide from C-terminus of human GPR132 / G2A. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human (100%); Gorilla, Marmoset (89%); Gibbon, Monkey (83%).
LS-E28797 - Liquid - 50 µg - $145.00
C-Terminus
Human GPR132 / G2A. BLAST analysis of the peptide immunogen showed no homology with other human proteins.
Immunohistochemistry: LS-A3701 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-A3701 was determined to be 11 ug/ml.

About GPR132 / G2A

Q9UNW8 NM_013345 NP_037477.1

GPR132 Antibody, G2A Antibody, G protein-coupled receptor 132 Antibody, G protein-coupled receptor G2A Antibody, G2 accumulation protein Antibody, G2a receptor Antibody

May be a receptor for oxidized free fatty acids derived from linoleic and arachidonic acids such as 9-hydroxyoctadecadienoic acid (9-HODE). Activates a G alpha protein, most likely G alpha(q). May be involved in apoptosis. Functions at the G2/M checkpoint to delay mitosis. May function as a sensor that monitors the oxidative states and mediates appropriate cellular responses such as secretion of paracrine signals and attenuation of proliferation.
