A 17 AA peptide sequence within the 1st cytoplasmic domain of the rat Cx31 (2) was used to generate anti-Mouse Cx31. Amino terminal Cysteine was added for conjugation to KLH (carrier protein).

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml using ECL. An antibody raised against a GST-fusion has been shown to recognize ~31kD band in skin. Immunohistochemistry: 2-20 ug/ml in formaldehyde fixed tissues. ELISA: 1:100K using 50-100 ng CX31 control peptide/well.
