Recognizes mouse Cx43. No significant homology is seen with other connexins. Species sequence homology: Rat and bovine: 100%; chicken and human: 84%, (16/19 aa).

- Western blot (1:1000 - 1:5000)
- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:100000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. Detects a band at ~43kD Cx43 in heart and other tissues. Higher MW bands may also be detected depending upon the samples. ELISA: 1:10000-1:100000 using 50-100 ng Cx43A control peptide/well.
