- Western blot (1:3000)
Usage
Western Blot: 1:3000 using TBA (not PBS) and blocking is bestperformed with highest quality IgG-free BSA. Recognizes ~75 kDaband in non-acid-treated serum samples corresponding to theGDNF/GDNFR complex. When samples are acid treated, aprominent 32kD (dimer) and weaker 16 kDa monomer areobserved. Acid treatment: homogenized tissue samples in PBS areacid-treated by adding 1N HCl until the pH is less than 3.0 (pHpaper strips), incubated 15 minutes at room temperature andthen neutralized by adding 1N NaOH to pH 7.6.Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
