Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Mouse, Xenopus (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:2000 - 1:10000)
Specificity and Use
GAPDH antibody was raised against the epitope recognized by this antibody maps to a region between residues 250 and 300 of human Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase using the numbering given in entry NP_002037.2 (GeneID 2597)
Tris buffered saline, 0.1% BSA, 0.09% sodium azide.
Has both glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase and nitrosylase activities, thereby playing a role in glycolysis and nuclear functions, respectively. Participates in nuclear events including transcription, RNA transport, DNA replication and apoptosis. Nuclear functions are probably due to the nitrosylase activity that mediates cysteine S-nitrosylation of nuclear target proteins such as SIRT1, HDAC2 and PRKDC. Modulates the organization and assembly of the cytoskeleton.
Detection of Human and Mouse GAPDH by Western Blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 mcg) and mouse NIH3T3 (M; 50 mcg). Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-GAPDH antibody used at 0.04 mcg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
