Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse, Bovine (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IHC (1:5 - 1:25)
ICC (1:5 - 1:25)
ELISA (1:25 - 1:50)
Specificity and Use
Galactocerebroside purified from bovine brain.
Recognizes Galactocerebroside in oligodendrocytes in mouse brain culture cells (live). It has as also shown staining on fixed mouse brain tissue.
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry and ELISA. Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:25. Not suitable for use on paraffin embedded tissue sections. Immunocytochemistry: 1:5-1:25. For staining of living cells it is recommended that the antisera be heat inactived prior to using to remove complement. Staining of living cells prior to fixation will show a typical "patching " appearance. Cells fixed prior to staining will have a more solid, "smooth" appearance. The diluent of choice is DMEM but other buffers may be used. The recommended fixative is 4% paraformaldehyde. ELISA: 1:25-1:50.
