Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human, Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:250 - 1:1000)
IHC - Paraffin
Specificity and Use
GABRG3 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 18-33 (CRSRRVEEDDSEDSPSN) of human GABAA receptor was used as immunogen receptor. It will cross react with human and mouse GABAA receptor gamma 3. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Rat (100%); Mouse (88%).
GABRG3 is a gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor. GABA is the major inhibitory neurotransmitter in the mammalian brain where it acts at GABA-A receptors, which are ligand-gated chloride channels. Chloride conductance of these channels can be modulated by agents such as benzodiazepines that bind to the GABA-A receptor. GABA-A receptors are pentameric, consisting of proteins from several subunit classes: alpha, beta, gamma, delta and rho.
