Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG2a Monoclonal [2D2]
Specificity and Use
Recognizes Foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV), the causative agent of Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD). Foot-and-mouth disease virus is a nonenveloped icosahedral Aphthovirus that contains single-stranded RNA. Foot-and-mouth disease is a highly contagious and sometimes fatal disease of cattle, pigs and other cloven-hoofed animals. The disease is characterized by high fever and blisters inside the mouth and on the feet. Although it doesn't have a high mortality rate, the disease has debilitating effects, including weight loss and decrease in milk production, resulting in detrimental economic ramifications. The virus is spread through direct contact. Seven different serotypes of FMDV have been identified and multiple subtypes occur within each serotype. Recognizes the O1 serotype.
