  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

FcERI / Fc Epsilon RI antibody was raised against mouse FCER1A
The MAR-1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of the MC/9 cell line (a mouse mast cell line). This can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

About FcERI / Fc Epsilon RI

P12319 NM_002001 NP_001992.1

FCER1A Antibody, Alpha polypeptide Antibody, FCE1A Antibody, FcERI Antibody, Fc Epsilon RI Antibody, Fc epsilon RI alpha-chain Antibody, Fc-epsilon RI-alpha Antibody, IgE Fc receptor subunit alpha Antibody

Binds to the Fc region of immunoglobulins epsilon. High affinity receptor. Responsible for initiating the allergic response. Binding of allergen to receptor-bound IgE leads to cell activation and the release of mediators (such as histamine) responsible for the manifestations of allergy. The same receptor also induces the secretion of important lymphokines.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of MC/9 cells with 0.06 ug of biotin Armenian hamster IgG isotype control (open histogram) or 0.06 ug of biotin MAR-1 (colored histogram) followed by SAv-PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis.
