Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About FBL / FIB / Fibrillarin

P22087 NM_001436 NP_001427.2

FBL Antibody, FLRN Antibody, FBRL Antibody, FIB1 Antibody, Fibrillarin Antibody, RNU3IP1 Antibody, FIB Antibody

S-adenosyl-L-methionine-dependent methyltransferase that has the ability to methylate both RNAs and proteins. Involved in pre-rRNA processing by catalyzing the site-specific 2'-hydroxyl methylation of ribose moieties in pre-ribosomal RNA. Site specificity is provided by a guide RNA that base pairs with the substrate. Methylation occurs at a characteristic distance from the sequence involved in base pairing with the guide RNA.

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence
Human SH-SY5Y cells stained, showing prominent specular nucleolar staining. Note: The nuclei are counter stained with blue DAPI DNA stain, so these spots appear very pale blue.

Immunofluorescence

Immunofluorescence
Mouse fibrillarin Hoechst DNA detected in Hek293 cells.

Western blot

Western blot
Strip blots of yeast protein extracts stained with the indicated antibodies; Is first lane on the left and stains a single band at ~34kD.
