  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

FADD antibody was raised against synthetic peptide corresponding to aa125-140 [(C)KIDSIEDRYPRNLTER] based on the human FADD with the cysteine (C) residue added (KLH coupled). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey (100%); Gibbon, Marmoset (94%).
Detects a ~30kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of FADD on SDS-PAGE Western Blots. Antibody specificity is confirmed by peptide inhibition studies. Species cross-reactivity: Human, monkey, mouse and rat.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Western Blot (ECL): 1-4 ug/ml. Detects 200 ug heat shocked HeLa cell lysate. Positive control: HeLa Heat Shocked Cell Lysate, Mouse Brain Tissue Extract.

Borate buffered saline, pH 8.2, [25 mM sodium borate, 100 mM boric acid, 75 mM sodium chloride, 5 mM EDTA (disodium salt)], 40% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About FADD

Q13158 NM_003824 NP_003815.1

FADD Antibody, GIG3 Antibody, MORT1 Antibody, Protein FADD Antibody

FADD is an adaptor molecule that interacts with various cell surface receptors and mediates cell apoptotic signals. Through its C-terminal death domain, this protein can be recruited by TNFRSF6/Fas-receptor, tumor necrosis factor receptor, TNFRSF25, and TNFSF10/TRAIL-receptor, and thus it participates in the death signaling initiated by these receptors.
