Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Sheep Polyclonal (IgG) to Human F2 / Prothrombin / Thrombin
Human F2 / Prothrombin / Thrombin
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Specificity and Use
Human Prothrombin (Factor II) purified from plasma.
Specific for human prothrombin as demonstrated by Immunoelectrophoresis. Does not cross-react with prothrombin-deficient plasma.
Suitable for use as detecting antibody in ELISA for prothrombin and its activation products or for other applications that require an enzyme linked antibody. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
+4°C or -20°C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Coagulation factor II is proteolytically cleaved to form thrombin in the first step of the coagulation cascade which ultimately results in the stemming of blood loss. F2 also plays a role in maintaining vascular integrity during development and postnatal life. Finally, peptides derived from the C-terminus of this protein have antimicrobial activity against E. coli and P. aeruginosa. Mutations in F2 leads to various forms of thrombosis and dysprothrombinemia.
