Recombinant protein corresponding to a-subunit of coagulation Factor XIII. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic and nuclear.

Specificity

Recognizes human reduced (80kD) and nonreduced (160kD) forms of Factor XIII. Does not recognize human Factor XIII B-chain or human Factor XII.

Usage

Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: 1-2 ug/ml for 2hrs at RT. Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:100 for 20 minutes at RT using the LP system, 30 minutes at RT using UltraVision. No special pretreatment is required for staining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. Positive control: Recombinant human Factor XIII a-subunit, capillary hemangioma, dermatofibroma and placenta. The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
