ERK1 + ERK2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide (KLH coupled) derived from the sequence of rat p42 MAP kinase.
Detects endogenous levels of total p44/42 MAP kinase (Erk1/Erk2) protein. In some cell types, recognizes p42 MAPK more readily than p44 MAPK. Does not recognize JNK/SAPK nor p38 MAP kinase. Species cross-reactivity: Human, mouse, rat, hamster, zebrafish.
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Flow Cytometry. Western Blot: 1:1000; Incubate membrane with diluted antibody in 5% BSA, 1X TBS, 0.1% Tween-20 at 4?C with gentle shaking, overnight. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin sections): 1:100. Immunoprecipitation: 1:50. Immunocytochemistry (IF): 1:25. Flow Cytometry: 1:25.
