Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About EPHA5 / EPH Receptor A5

P54756 NM_004439 CAA64700.1

EPHA5 Antibody, BSK Antibody, Brain-specific kinase Antibody, EHK-1 Antibody, EK7 Antibody, Eph homology kinase-1 Antibody, EPH receptor A5 Antibody, EPH-like kinase 7 Antibody, EHK1 Antibody, HEK7 Antibody, Els1 Antibody, EPH homology kinase 1 Antibody, Rek7 Antibody, TYRO4 Antibody, CEK7 Antibody, Ephrin type-A receptor 5 Antibody

Receptor tyrosine kinase which binds promiscuously GPI-anchored ephrin-A family ligands residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighboring cells. The signaling pathway downstream of the receptor is referred to as forward signaling while the signaling pathway downstream of the ephrin ligand is referred to as reverse signaling. Among GPI-anchored ephrin-A ligands, EFNA5 most probably constitutes the cognate/functional ligand for EPHA5.

Western blot

Western blot of EphA5 (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal EphA5 Antibody. 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the EphA5 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).
