This affinity purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region approximately 60 residues downstream of the amino terminal end of human Fbp5B protein. Human Fbp5B-2, 466 aa, predicted MW 51.3 kDa

A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross reactivity with Fbp5B protein from human and chimpanzee based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Reactivity against homologues from other sources is not known.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B369 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B369 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
