Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse-Balb/c Monoclonal [clone 175C5] (IgG1) to Human EMA / MUC1
IHC - Paraffin, IHC - Frozen, Immunofluorescence, Western blot, Immunoprecipitation, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Electron Microscopy
Human EMA / MUC1
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1 Monoclonal [175C5]
IHC - Paraffin (10 µg/ml)
IHC - Frozen
Specificity and Use
EMA / MUC1 antibody was raised against human mammary carcinoma cell line (ZR-75-1)
shows a high preference for breast carcinomas relative to normal breast epithelium. Theantibdy reacts with a carcinoma-associated antigen in both adenocarcinomas and squamous cellcarcinomas of different origins.
PBS containing 0.09% sodium azide
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.
EMA / MUC1 is a membrane-bound protein that is a member of the mucin family. Mucins are O-glycosylated proteins that play an essential role in forming protective mucous barriers on epithelial surfaces. These proteins also play a role in intracellular signaling. This protein is expressed on the apical surface of epithelial cells that line the mucosal surfaces of many different tissues including lung, breast stomach and pancreas.
