  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

E2F1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide located between aa107-156 of human E2F1 (Q01094, NP_005216). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Gibbon, Galago, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Elephant, Dog, Bat, Rabbit, Horse, Pig, Opossum, Guinea pig, Chicken, Lizard (100%); Xenopus (85%); Monkey, Panda, Bovine, Turkey, Platypus (84%); Zebra finch (83%).
Human E2F1
Western Blot: Suggested dilution at 1µg/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1: 50,000 - 100,000 as second antibody. ELISA titer in peptide based assay: 1:1562500.

Lyophilized from PBS with 2% sucrose
50 µl Distilled water
Long term: -20°C, the use of 50% glycerol is recommended if storing aliquots in -20°C for long term use (up to 1 year); Short term (less than one week): +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

E2F1 Antibody, E2F transcription factor 1 Antibody, PRB-binding protein E2F-1 Antibody, RBAP-1 Antibody, RBBP3 Antibody, RBBP-3 Antibody, Transcription factor E2F1 Antibody, RBAP1 Antibody, E2F-1 Antibody, PBR3 Antibody

E2F-1 (also known as transcription factor E2F-1, Retinoblastoma binding protein 3, RBBP-3, PRB-binding protein E2F-1, PBR3, Retinoblastoma-associated protein 1 and RBAP-1) is a transcription activator that binds DNA cooperatively with DP proteins through the E2 recognition site, 5'-TTTC[CG]CGC-3'. The E2F family plays a crucial role in the control of cell cycle and action of tumor suppressor proteins and is also a target of the transforming proteins of small DNA tumor viruses.
