  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

DRD3 / Dopamine Receptor D3 antibody was raised against d3(2-11-Cys11) covalently attached onto a carrier protein.
Recognizes rat D3L Dopamine Receptor (2-10) 100 %, D3 Dopamine Receptor, 80%, D1Dopamine Receptor (9-21) 0%, D2Dopamine Receptor (272-282) 0%, D4Dopamine Receptor (176-185) 0%, D5Dopamine Receptor (23-35) 0%.
Suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Immunocytochemistry: 1:5000. Has been found to stain specific cells in various regions of rat brain sections. This includes dendritic labeling in the molecular layers (cortex layer 1 and molecular layer of the hippocampus) as well as the plasma membranes of neurons in layer 5 of cortex and the glomeruli of the olfactory bulb. Western Blot: 1:500.

DRD3 Antibody, D3 dopamine receptor Antibody, D3DR Antibody, Dopamine 3 receptor Antibody, Dopamine receptor D3 Antibody, D3nf Antibody, Essential tremor 1 Antibody, ETM1 Antibody, FET1 Antibody, D(3) dopamine receptor Antibody, Dopamine D3 receptor Antibody

DRD3 / Dopamine Receptor D3 is the D3 subtype of the five (D1-D5) dopamine receptors. The activity of the D3 subtype receptor is mediated by G proteins which inhibit adenylyl cyclase. This receptor is localized to the limbic areas of the brain, which are associated with cognitive, emotional, and endocrine functions. Genetic variation in this gene may be associated with susceptibility to hereditary essential tremor 1.
