A 27 amino acid peptide sequence from the rat D2 long form within the cytoplasmic loop #3. No significant homology with other receptors (D1, D2 short, and D3-D5).

Suitable for use in Western Blot and ELISA. Western Blot: 1-10 ug/ml (Chemiluminescence technique). The predicted size of D2L form is approximately 50kD. However, additional bands at approximately 60 and 100kD, and others are typically seen in various tissues. Approximately 100-400 ug of membrane protein/lane should be loaded to visualize various bands. ELISA: 0.5-1.0 ug/ml (1 ug/ml immunogen peptide/well).
