A 28 AA synthetic peptide sequence from the human D2 R, within the cytoplasmic loop # 3 (KLH). The 28 AA sequence is shared by both the long and short form.

3rd Cytoplasmic Domain
Specificity
Recognizes human D2R. No significant sequence homology is seen with other dopamine receptors (D1 and D3-D5). Species sequence homology: Bovine, canine-100%; xenopus-50%.

- Western blot (1:1000 - 1:5000)
- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:50000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 (ECL) The predicted size of D2 form is approx. 50kD. However, additional bands at approx. 100kD, 68kD, and 50kD, and others are typically seen in various tissues. Approx. 100-400 ug membrane protein/lane should be loaded to visualize various bands. ELISA: 1:10000-1:50000. Use 1 ug/ml to coat ELISA plates.

Supplied as liquid in PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Storage
