Specificity and Use
DPP4 / CD26 antibody was raised against a human T cell clone.
The mouse monoclonal antibody BA5b recognizes CD26, a 110 kD type II membrane glycoprotein, which is a peptidase expressed on mature thymocytes, T cells (especially activated), B cells, NK cells and macrophages. HLDA VI; WS Code N-L078.
The reagent is designed for Flow Cytometry analysis of human blood cells using 10 ul reagent / 100 ul of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. The content of a vial (1 ml) is sufficient for 100 tests. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
Cell surface glycoprotein receptor involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-cell receptor (TCR)-mediated T-cell activation. Acts as a positive regulator of T-cell coactivation, by binding at least ADA, CAV1, IGF2R, and PTPRC. Its binding to CAV1 and CARD11 induces T-cell proliferation and NF-kappa-B activation in a T-cell receptor/CD3-dependent manner. Its interaction with ADA also regulates lymphocyte-epithelial cell adhesion.
