  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

DNM1 / Dynamin antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding the phosphorylated Ser778 of human, rat, and mouse Dynamin. This is the site phosphorylated by cyclin dependent protein kinase 5 (CDK5). The antigen is identical in human, rat, mouse.
Specific for Dynamin phosphorylated at Ser778. The labeling of the Dynamin bands in Western Blots of rat brain is blocked by the phosphopeptide but not by the dephosphopeptide. Species cross-reactivity: Species cross-reactivity: rat, mouse, human. No cross-reactivity was detected when other purified substrates for CDK5 were tested (e. g. Synapsin and amphiphysin).

10 mM HEPES, pH 7.5, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.1 mg/ml BSA, 50% glycerol.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

About DNM1 / Dynamin

DNM1 Antibody, Dynamin Antibody, Dynamin-1 Antibody, DNM Antibody, Dynamin 1 Antibody

DNM1 / Dynamin is a member of the dynamin subfamily of GTP-binding proteins. The encoded protein possesses unique mechanochemical properties used to tubulate and sever membranes, and is involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and other vesicular trafficking processes. Actin and other cytoskeletal proteins act as binding partners for the encoded protein, which can also self-assemble leading to stimulation of GTPase activity.
