  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Derlin-3 / DERL3 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from C-Terminus of human DERL3 (Q96Q80, NP_001002862). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Galago, Mouse, Rat, Panda, Dog, Bovine, Bat, Rabbit, Pig, Guinea pig, Zebra finch, Chicken, Platypus, Salmon, Stickleback, Zebrafish (100%); Orangutan, Marmoset, Elephant, Horse, Opossum, Turkey, Xenopus, Smelt, Sablefish, Pike (92%); Sea squirt, Beetle (83%).
Human DERL3
ELISA titer using peptide based assay: 1:62500. Western Blot: Suggested dilution at 1 ug/ml in 5% skim milk / PBS buffer, and HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit IgG should be diluted in 1:50000 - 100000 as second antibody.

Lyophilized from PBS with 2% sucrose
50 µl Distilled Water.
Long term: -20°C, the use of 50% glycerol is recommended if storing aliquots in -20°C for long term use (up to 1 year); Short term (less than one week): +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.

Functional component of endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) for misfolded lumenal glycoproteins, but not that of misfolded nonglycoproteins. May act by forming a channel that allows the retrotranslocation of misfolded glycoproteins into the cytosol where they are ubiquitinated and degraded by the proteasome. May mediate the interaction between VCP and the degradation substrate.
