Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
The antigen is a protein of 205kDa molecular weight (DEC-205) which is localized on the cell surface and intracellularly. The epitope has not been further characterized. Antigen distribution: Specificity: Mouse: nonlymphoid dendritic cells: interdigitating cells (IDC), veiled cells and Langerhans cells, thymic epithelial cells. Other: not tested
Lyophilized from PBS pH 7.2, 5mg/ml BSA, 0.02% sodium azide
LY75/CD205/DEC-205 is an integral membrane protein homologous to the macrophage mannose receptor and functions as an antigen-uptake receptor on dendritic cells. DEC-205 is rapidly taken up by means of coated pits and vesicles and is delivered to a multivesicular endosomal compartment that resembles the MHC class II-containing vesicles.
